What Is Wrapper Networking?
Imagine it is a delicious, delicious and downright tempting sandwich you have waited for years. With the bread on the outside and the delightful fillings on the inside. The bread is the exterior, while the fillings make up the interior. On the other hand, wrapper networking is analogous to placing a virtual wrapper around many networks to allow them to speak with one another while preventing the networks from colliding. So, how does it work? Encapsulation is a networking method that is used in wrapper networking. Encapsulation refers to the process of placing one network packet inside another network packet. You essentially enclose one thing inside another, just like when you put a present inside a box. "wrapper" refers to the outermost packet, whereas "payload" refers to the inside package. To begin, it may be beneficial to one's safety. You can add additional protection against hackers and other malicious actors in your network by wrapping the packets that make up your network in another layer. It's the equivalent of placing your sandwich in a lunchbox so that it won't get squished when you go to eat it! The management of a network can also be simplified with wrapper networking. Wrappers allow you to regulate how to separate networks connect and ensure that those communications don't get in the way of one another by isolating those networks. It's like having multiple compartments in your lunchbox for different types of snacks; this way, you can keep everything neatly organized and distinct from one another. Wrapper networking can also be helpful if you ever find yourself in a situation where you must join two networks that use distinct protocols or technologies. You may make disparate networks cooperate and bridge the gap between them by encapsulating one network packet inside another.
