What Is System Tray (Systray)?

The system tray is like a little nest on the taskbar. It's where you can hang out and check on all your apps. You can see what they're doing now and click on them to make them do something else! If you double-click on a notification icon, you'll get more information about that app. If you right-click it, you can control it in different ways. There are usually a bunch of icons in the system tray already when you first turn on your computer. You can also download new ones from websites or install them with an app manager. The system tray shows up as an area at the bottom right of your screen, and it contains icons that give you easy access to system functions such as email, printers, network connections, and volume control. The heroes also indicate the statuses of the processes running on the computer. By hovering over an icon, double-clicking it or right-clicking it (to bring up its context menu), you can view the status of, access details about and control the associated application. Usually, all applications running on the computer share the system tray. The system tray is the best place to store everything you need but never want to look at. The system tray is a small area in the bottom right corner of the taskbar in most Windows versions or at the top right corner on Linux, Mac OS and Android. The tray is available in desktop and mobile operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Mac OS, Android and iOS. The tray's location depends on the operating system; it is at the bottom right corner in most Windows versions and the top right corner on Linux, Mac OS and Android. However, since it resides on the taskbar, you can move it by changing where your taskbar sits. The System Tray is small, but it's a big deal. The little thing at the bottom right of your screen keeps track of everything you need to do. And it is one of the essential parts of your computer. It's there for everything from keeping track of your email and web browser tabs to ensuring you never miss another meeting. It's got some pretty neat tricks up its sleeve, too—like being able to hide when you don't need it, so it doesn't get in the way, and since it lives on your taskbar, you can move it around, it's always within reach when you need it!
