What Is Range?
Range is the same as variables. They're a place to store stuff, but they have certain limitations. For example, if you have a range of 2-5, anything between 2 and 5 is part of your range. That also means any number outside that range, 6 or 7, is not part of your range. Content is a word used in computer programming to refer to an array's possible values or intervals. An array is a data structure that contains multiple elements of the same data type, such as integers or strings. Each part of an array has an index number and can be accessed using that number. The first element of an array has an index number of 0, and the last part has an index number less than the total number of pieces in the collection (this is called "array bounds"). The range of an array includes its upper and lower bounds. So if you have an array with ten elements, it ranges from 0 to 9 inclusive (because 0 through 9 are both valid index numbers for any given piece). The range of a set of values or data points is determined by subtracting the smallest value from an enormous value. Values are the things that you can use to describe a person, place or thing. There are many different values, like the number of kids a person has or the amount of money they make. Some values are just numbers, like 4.3 or $500,000. Other values are more complex, like "sophisticated" or "funny".Values can describe anything from people to places like cars and houses. There are also different types of deals. For example, quantitative values such as age or height can be counted, and qualitative values describe characteristics such as gender, race or political affiliation. The range is determined by subtracting the smallest value from the most significant value in a set of observed values or data points.
