What Is Parasite Hosting?

If you're looking to get your website to the top of the search engine results but don't have the funds to buy a high-ranking domain name, you might consider parasite hosting. Parasite hosting is a search engine optimization (SEO) technique that involves posting a free blog, wiki or forum on a highly respected domain with a high page rank. These free posts are used to create backlinks to a given site, which may boost that site's search engine page rank thanks to the host's high rank. The host's domain will usually be used in the parasite content title, and some anchor text may be linked to your site. The goal is to obtain as many persons as possible visiting your website from these parasitical pages, so you must draw readers who are likely to want what you offer. If you attract readers adequately, Google will notice your amplified visibility and raise your position! Parasite hosting is a term used in internet marketing and search engine optimization to describe utilizing another person's website to link to other websites. The term parasite hosting is often used pejoratively, implying that the process is an example of black hat SEO techniques. However, parasite hosting may also be used for less nefarious purposes, such as by a website administrator who maintains a profile on social media sites such as Facebook or Twitter. Black Hat SEO is the kind of SEO that can get you into trouble. It's not that black hat SEO isn't practical. It's just that it's not very safe. Some people may do it, but we don't recommend it. Search engines work hard to keep up with the latest trends in search engine optimization (SEO). However, those who use "black hat" techniques often find loopholes in new search engine algorithms and take advantage of them before they're patched up. In short, if you want to use SEO techniques that will help your site rank well on Google, Facebook, or Bing but also leave you open to penalties from those same companies (like being banned from their platforms), then black hat SEO is for you!
