What Is Matplotlib?
Plotting is a pain in the neck. It's a tedious, time-consuming process requiring you to know how to use at least three different programs to complete anything. But what if there was a way to make plotting simple? Could you write some code and have it spit out an awesome graph on your screen? Well, my friends, those days are here now! Introducing Matplotlib, the plotting library for Python that will blow your mind and make you want to quit your job so you can spend all day making cool graphs. Matplotlib uses an object-oriented API to embed plots in Python applications. Matplotlib generates fields like histograms, bar charts, line graphs, scatter plots, and stories with mathematical functions. It enables the customization of settings like axes, labels, and themes. Matplotlib plotting has a modular architecture that allows adding new plotting capabilities via plug-ins. It supports interoperability with other plotting libraries and programs via different data formats. Visual plotting and matplotlib enable people to see the models and algorithms of machine learning programs in a way that might make it easier to improve the models or modify the algorithms for better results. The same holds for the utility of numbers. The numbers generated by these libraries are helpful to the programmers, who can then use them to improve the machine learning programs. Python is the language of choice for machine learning for many reasons. NumPy and matplotlib are two of the most important. NumPy is a library that allows programmers to manipulate numerical data sets with Python. At the same time, matplotlib provides several visual plotting tools that make it easier to understand what's happening in the program. Combining these two elements lets programmers get more out of their machine-learning programs by giving them better insight into what's happening.
