What Is FTP Trojan?
Seems like something out of a horror movie that gets you scared every time you see it, but scared for your computer that morphs into a monstrosity! Don't worry. It's just a movie, but the horror may be real for your computer. That's the last one we promise, and let's learn what this one is about. FTP Trojans are like the ruse you use to get into a nightclub: they pretend they're just regular programs, but once they're in the system, they start acting shady. It's like when you were a junior, and your dad told you not to go out into the rain without an umbrella, so you took one with you and then when it started pouring, he yelled at you for not listening. He said he told you not to take your umbrella because it would make all your friends laugh at you! FTP Trojans are kind of like that. They look all innocent and unassuming on their way in, but once they've snuck into your system undetected, they start exposing your data for all the world to see. So, watch out for those FTP Trojans! The Trojan Horse has been around for ages and is still a favorite among hackers. But as you know, you must protect yourself against Trojans, especially if you're using FTP. The Trojan horse is a type of malware that uses a file or program to deliver malicious code. When someone installs the file or program, they will also install the malicious code without knowing it! This can happen with any file or program. Still, the most common example is when someone downloads an FTP server from an unauthorized source and installs it on their computer without realizing that they've just opened their machine up to attackers. The intruder can then gain access to sensitive data through the FTP Protocol.
