It is a critical aspect of every business because it can cause unauthorized data usage that impacts the company's bottom line. Unauthorized data usage is particularly problematic for sensitive data like personal information. Data bleeds when an unsecured IoT device unintentionally transfers data from one network to another. It can also occur when a hacker exploits unsecured software on an in-house network or public cloud.
